Wierd nickel...had it forever.

    Hello...I don't have a picture yet but I will try to get one.

    My grandfather gave me a 1945 Jefferson Nickel probably about 20 years ago or so and ive just had it put away.

    Its very worn on the front but you can read the date....whats wierd about it is that the reverse is COMPLETLY flat...not worn but just flat. The nickel its self is also extremely thin.

    Ill try to get a pic of it...just didn't know if that is something someone has heard of before.

    2) most likely, the reverse was shaved off to make a love token, that was never done.

    could be a split planchet as well but more likely is the first scenario
