Hello do any of you guys recognize this token/coin/medal. It says old ironside launched Oct 21 1797 on the observe and on the reverse it shows the ship. Does anyone have any idea torward the value of this piece?

definitely not a coin a token for me as well which has been engraved as a love token before someone took a ship
To me it looks like a modern reproduction. The copyright symbol is what makes me question it as does the typeface. Does anyone know when they first started using the copyright symbol? I can't locate a history of it.
