Wide rim 1979 SBA dollar

What is an easy way to tell the difference between the wide and narrow rims?

The date is almost touching the rim on the wide rim variety. The gap above the date will look huge (5x the size) compared to the gap below.

By contrast, on the non-wide version, the gap between the bust and the date and the gap between the rim and the date look similar in size.
