Oh sorry that middle picture of the dimes is tricky. The middel one says its from brittish caribbean territorial from 1955 and then the two outside dimes are canadian from 1987 and 1968

For Canadian coins, pre-1920 are sterling silver,1920-1967 are 80% silver, and 1967-1968 are 50% silver. The reason the coins have a silver edge is that Canada makes their coins out of nickel plated steel, while we use cupro-nickel. Can't help on the rest through.

For your 1968 Dime, hold a magnet to it. If it sticks, it's pure nickel, if not, 50% silver.

The British Caribbean coin is copper-nickel.

The first coin is a Greek 10 Drachma, copper nickel.

The last coin is from Panama, what U.S. coin does it match up to by size? If it matches anything but the half dollar, it's copper nickel. If it matches the half, it's 40% silver and has the same value of a 40% silver half.

My pleasure. No silver doesn't always mean worthless, during the google process:)D) I saw a figure of 8 euros, about $12, I don't know how accurate that is though.

Eric, I have a 1947 Balboa that is 90% silver. What year did they stop making them in silver? Just curious!

U.S. Dollars circulate freely in Panama, and U.S. paper money is the only paper they use. Their coins are the same size and composition as ours. In 1965, we took silver out of our dime and quarter and made the 1/2 40%, they took silver out of their 1/10 and 1/4 Balboa, and made the 1/2 Balboa 40%. EDIT: Panama changed the coins in 1966, not 1965
