This just got auctioned, but when I looked for it in my Standard Catalog (37th Edition), it wasn't there. Looks real to me (though I've never seen one before, so have no basis for comparison). Isn't in Unusual Coins either. 16 grams silver (said the seller).
The Schön does not list it either. I don't actually know anything about the piece, but what is odd is that it does not say "Republica de Guatemala" like pretty much every coin from there. Instead it refers to the Banco de Guatemala. Maybe it is a commemorative medal issued by the central bank, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the quetzal as a monetary unit ... Christian
