Why is it blue

    Yeah, its the camera. Looks like a kinda crappy coin that was cleaned using olive oil, which is what gave it that unnatural color. Not that ancient coins can't be blue - blue can be one of the most attractive (and delicate!) patinas out there.

    Nice coin and thanks for the info...your coin looks almost likea turqoise color though...the one in my link is prolly from the olive oil like you said.
