" Some do, some don't, some will, I won't". Not being snarky, just not worth the expense to me. I guess the only exception to my thought would be if someone were putting together a registry set of MS/PF 70 UCAM's.

American Silver Eagles fell into the collector's market. So people pay premiums for these pieces and this is one of the reasons you'll find graded eagles.

Marketing. It helps to sell something of lesser value for an easy profit.

The short answer would be because people like it and buy it. If people didn't buy it sellers would stop sending it in

Only sellers and no buyers for these PR/MS 70 coins.

They wouldn't keep doing it if that were the case. Just because they're always available doesn't mean people aren't buying them

What I meant was that no dealers wanna buy these coins back.

I consider adding graded bullion to my collection about as much as I would recommend buying all the Bennie Baby's that you can find. A fools endeavor in my opinion, but that doesn't mean that there aren't people who put quite a bit of stock in them. I'd just rather some great old coin than some modern "condition rarity" when there may be thousands of them that haven't been slabbed yet

There's a lot of coins dealers don't want back that are to hard to sell. I've never really heard of a dealer not buying graded eagles, the question is more what are they willing to pay for them.

1993 ASE MS64.jpg 1996 Toned ASE.png I collect them and put them in a Dansco, but the special editions I must admit I do get graded. These go into NGC retro slabs.
I also have 2 toned ones that are not NGC slabbed.

Graded bullion makes me snicker, but whatever floats your boat, you know?

The only graded eagle I have was gotten with points earned on Teletrade.......had to burn 'em up before I lost them.

    Why do we grade bullion?

What is the meaning of life?

    How big is the universe?

    What do women really want?

Some questions simply can't be answered.
