toned Morgans? Same coin, I just wanted to see if changing the background made the camera's white balance freak out....
It shouldn't affect White Balance - still a monochromatic background either way - but the black background should afford more contrast in the original-size image because it reflects less light into the lens which isn't coming from the coin. In this case, the slab's white color likely defeats any gain from the darker background, though.
