I watch the videos of Daniel at CoinHelpU, SpegTacular, Coin Geek, Numismatic Stacker Silver Joker, and coin week primarily. It tides me over, when there are no shows. Do you watch anyone?
I have watched a few YouTube videos of people roll hunting, but it looks pretty fake to me. Like they put them in the roll beforehand. I haven't watched many people do this so maybe some are legit, but I don't enjoy watching them either way. Also, there are a few people that have misinformation on their YT channels so be forewarned.
Just Daniel at CoinHelpU occasionly . Long time member of his site but this one's my Favorite. Daniel is a Dealer and the "Real Deal". No gimmicks.
I have watched a few CRH videos....don't have a favorite though. Most of the stuff I watch on Youtube is not coin related. Most often music depending on my mood. Have been down a lot of different rabbit holes on there. I only subscribe to 1 channel though. Not a coin channel though.
I watch Daniel at CoinHelpU. Learned a lot from his videos. I also like to watch the Coin Guy videos made by spegtacular. Would enjoy meeting both these guys oneway.
As someone with a channel... the quality of this guy's content is tough to beat. He does a ton of research and I enjoy and appreciate every moment of it. Some of the clarity in my own channel's content is 100% influenced by World Numismatic News -
I don't watch CRH vids, I did some boxes and never found anything and don't have the patience for it I think. I'd like to meet coin guy too! I was down in Florida for the holiday, but on the East Coast, not West. Thought about going to Ohio, but it's a little far. Maybe Daniel will go to Gettysburg in APril?
There's some local ones in my state that I watch in addition to three of the five mentioned in the OP.
I don't do YouTube. I don't know that I'd even care to do YouTube. I spend WAY too much time in front of my computer as it is.
I pretty much only watch Quinn's Coins anymore, for his coin hunt videos where he's just going through coins and putting them to fill an album. i've watched all the channels basically, some are selling chances by roll hunting for people and that's clearly staged to keep people paying, some are misinforming for clicks and ad revenue, some are high and mighty about their knowledge or downright boring as a personality. I've found reasons to dislike most of the channels on youtube and stopped watching them, but that Quinn's coins channel just strikes me as a regular down to earth guy, doing what we all do, looking at coins and filling holes, and while he does sell a CRH placemats or ball caps, to supplement the channel, he's clearly not trying to get rich off any of it or misleading people. I'd say the ones you mentioned don't mislead, and aren't working an angle selling rolls, they are knowledgeable, but I do find most of their content boring and struggle to watch more than 5 minutes of their videos. the whole genra on Youtube though is an older segment of viewer from 40-60 years old, and none of them get the subscribers and views needed to earn a living at it unless they are trying to attract the younger people somehow which is usually where the live stream coin roll hunting and donations to hunt rolls comes in, which I personally hate as a business model on there.
