The reason I ask this question in because I've found 3 in two weeks of the 98 and haven't ran across a doubled die yet. Are the 98s that common to find or is it just a string of good luck?
The only WAM I have is a '98 I paid a few bucks on ebay for, never found one in circulation though I check all the cents that pass my way (and I have done some CRH on cents too). Really thought I'd have found a '00 by now...
Surely thought I would of come across a 00 but nothing. I've searched about $60 worth of pennies so far and found those 3 98s. I'm crossing my fingers to see a 92 D CAM and the 99 WAM. I look at every penny closely, hoping that I might find something not known.
I'm a little backwards and a lot lucky. I found a '99 during the past year, but I searched a few dozen boxes. I never did find a '98 or 2000 though!
I found 2 98 WAMs in the last $25 box I went through. Unfortunately, one of them looked like it was run over a few times after sitting in a parking lot. Nothing else though.
No one has been lucky enough to find the scarce 92 CAM? I've read where someone found a wide 1996 WAM? Is this true? I know I check every penny for the close or wide, no matter the year. Takes more time to get through the pennies, but it may be worth it one day.
