i have been checking his sites since quite long ago, say, 2002.

But as a chinese collector, i found some of his chinese coins prolematic, heheh, but that does not decline his effort in sharing such a grand project of sharing these images.

    great project!

How exactly is his site problematic? Sure he may not have the entire coinage of Chinese coins but he's doing his best. I'm sure you don't have images of all Chinese coins as well.

I'm still looking for the Guizhou antimony coin - most people don't even have an idea what I'm talking about. Pictures are quite scarce as well.

i m not saying that his site is problematic, i am only saying about chinese coin images of his site. No offese to him!

By the way, no one can never or ever say he has all the chinese coins.
The conception of coin is problematic in chinese hard currency.

The guizhou coin you are talking about is interesting.
You can tell us more, eg, where you hear about it, and how it is like...
    greetings!

this coin sells at a price of less than 10000 rmb, 1300us dollars roughly, in a beijing auction in 2005.

I think Don started his site just listing coins that he and maybe some other collectors had.

However I do know he is in the process of listing EVERY coin listed in the latest 20th and 21st c krauss catalogs. Eventually there will be an almost complete listing for 19thc coins as well.

You have to appreciate this is an awesome undertaking but he WILL get there one day.

    So patience everyone.

yes, let us help him if can.

But authentication of the coins in images could be another challenge.

Talking of the images on Don's site. He does rely on scans donated by members of the worldcoingallery to avoid copyright infringements (I think I'm right in saying). So if you see an entry that doesn't have a pic attached and you are able to contribute a scan then I'm sure Don would be most appreciative - and you get a mention!
