The Whitman Coin Show in Baltimore is one of the biggies I look forward to. 500+ dealers. The chance of finding what you want is very good. A bit of a weird schedule. June 5-7. Thursday thru Saturday. Makes some sense since many (50%?) dealers weren't showing up for Sundays. Baltimore gets three of these a year, plus this year we get an ANA Show too. Actually in spite of all the possibilities, there's still one coin I haven't been able to find at these shows. A 1945-S Full Steps Jefferson Nickel in MS-64 or -65. I know it's the key to the Full Steps War Nickels, and it's not priced THAT high, but I can't find a slabbed one. And I'm talking just 5 steps, not a full 6. But I'll try again. That, and 4 other coins top my wantlist.
Goog Hunting Good luck , I attended my 1st big show CSNS in Chicago last month , what a blast and I only had $400 ,still was able to find a beautiful $5 gold piece in MS-62 , and still had money to take my wife out to eat at a good restuarant. The prices were very competitive , waited to right before closing to buy . Good hunting on the nickle .:smile rzage
