Anyone going to the Whitman Coin Baltimore Spring Expo February 28 – March 3, feel free to post here with:

    1) When you are attending
    2) What you are searching for

If any of the rest of us see anything, maybe we can help each other out...?

1 - My son and I will be attending on Saturday, the 2nd.
2 - We will be looking for some low-price ancients. I try to find a gold coin for as close to melt as possible each time. I would like an Austrian 20 Corona or maybe another French Rooster.

I'm hoping to attend either Thursday at noon (what's up with THAT?) or Friday at 10 am.

Looking for the following for a U.S. Type Set:

    Flying Eagle Cent (AU58-MS64)
    Matte Proof Lincoln Cent (MS6?)

    Low-hanging fruit:
    * Nice IHC (Proof? MS64-65? Doesn't have to be red...)
    * U.S. Classic Commemoratives

I'd like to be able to go on Friday but have work and even if I took the day off, my son would probably kill me if I didn't take him lol.

I'd sure like some Maryland-style crab cakes and soft-shell crab sandwiches.

I think I'm going. But not if I'm broke!

I'll be there on Friday and possibly Saturday, looking for a nice 1807 BL Half Eagle... Has to fit in and play nice with its two cousins:

Short of an 1807 BL, I'll look for a few selective XF-45 to AU-58 Charlotte Half Eagle dates to fill a last few holes in my Charlotte HE collection.

@furryfrog02 My experience with the Balt. on Saturday is
that by lunch time more than half the dealers are adios.

Yeah, I know :( But unfortunately, it is the only time I can go. We usually get there at 10 before people start packing up but there are still quite a few abandoned tables by that point already.

I'll be there about opening time (10AM) Friday.

I have one item in mind.
It'll be from a dealer who has been posting it on eBay.
I assume it won't sell there (it's listed for ~$8000) so I suspect he'll bring to the show.
If so, and if I like its look, I'll get it.
If not I'll be looking at getting more Early Commemoratives.

    True.
    But Thursday is no better.
Many dealers are doing their shopping so many tables are not being tended.
    Friday is the best.

My optimal day is Friday and I usually try to switch with someone at work to go. I just bought a collection off of my friend and maybe something today at an antique show they run so I may not have money to buy anything but I sure do enjoy looking around and chatting it up if anyone has the time! If you see me there on Friday, say Hi!
