White spots on a Kennedy half

    Can anyone tell me what these white spots are on the Kennedy half.

    Probably milk spots.

    Disagree. Milk spots are caused by some process or the other at the mint and rarely are there more than a few on a coin. This looks to be more than likely caused by a sneeze or a cough.

    Do you think we could get some DNA from them? I've got four similar-looking A/H Kennedy's that I'm sending to NCS. Let's see if the same person was responsible for mine.

    While you're at it, you might as well try to lift the fingerprints off the OP's coin...
