Yeah, I'll say it's "nice". Just look at the detail on the wheat stalks. It had to have been near AU when it was lost. Just out of curiosity, Jim, how far beneath the surface was it?
Most of the wheat pennies and older coins are generally in the 4-6 inch range. I do not know when or at what depth this particular wheatie was found. I was going through the two jars of them that I have. Was seperating some out for David here on the forum but I guess he doesn't want any of em ?? I IM him a few times. Oh well, whatever.
