I bought some graded medals and so called dollars not too long ago, and I know that the “HK” on the slabs is a notation for Hibler and Kappen for their so called dollars book. I also have some slabs with the notation of “King-###”, can someone please tell me which reference book by “King” I am looking for, who is “king” and what books did he write?

    Thanks CT.

I found a book about masonic chapter pennies by EA King, but I am not sure if that is what I am looking for. I think more of a book for medals and medallions. Anyone know the name of the book I am looking for?

    Edward A. King.

The ANA Library lists several books authored by several Kings. If you are near Colorado Springs (and you are an ANA member) you should drop by their library. Otherwise they can ship you the books you need.

C.E. King - several books about Roman coins
Frank H.H. King - Asian banking and Chinese coins
Robert P. King - Lincoln in Numismatics
Edward A. King - Masonic Chapter Pennies
Cathy E. King - Roman Coins
