    Trying to decide which version I like better. Same template, same coin, photos from random photo shoots over the past two years.

    2nd, no doubt 'bout it. It shows much more of the mint luster better then the other one.

    Definitely "B". The lighting is spread more uniformly across the coin.

    B as well. Fewer hot spots that make the coin look a bit washed out in the first set of photos. I like that the lighting is more evenly spread (as Chris said already) but maybe I would shoot for a bit more light. Are you diffusing your lights, or just shooting straight with the bulbs?

    All old photos, various lighting I don't remember. I think both sets are a little weak. Just was trying to pick best set from what I had, but really this coin needs a reshoot.

    I found these pics digging through thousands of photos, I spent today snowblowing and culling sold coin photos from collection. Found a few surprises.

    For some reason, I like obverse pic from top (a) photo, but I hate the reverse photo. I know the shadow is not ideal, but the color from that obverse photo is rather accurate.

    I thought the same thing but overall B is better on my monitor. Super sweet Buff I a MS65 same date but now it looks circulated compared to that one LOL

    I like B. Lighting is more even.

    I'd also like to see just a tad more light on the coin. There are still some "darker" spots. BTW, both those photos are WAY better than anything I can shoot.

    I don't like either photo, but I think all you need to do is increase the brightness on the bottom photo to fix it.
