I found a 1905 penny in a $25 box and a 1909 (P) VDB in another. In a third box, I found 74 wheats. Which of these three finds is the most impressive to you?
I'd say the Indian head is, just because the design is different and it's strange to find those still. I found around the same year, but my best was a 1863 one in fine! Yeah I was pretty happy.
I'd go with all the wheaties. I've found IHCs and 09vdbs before but the most wheats I've found in a box is 34.

A lot would depend on condition for me. If they are all of equal condition, I personally prefer the 1909 VDB.
If I find wheats with bluish corrosion on it, even a little, I toss them back in circulation. Can't stand those cause they'll infect my others
The '09 VDB is one I have only found one or two of so I would have to go with that. I have found IHC's about a couple of dozen times, even two FE cents dated 1858, and the record for number of wheats in a box was something like 146, including over 70 1943 steel cents, most of them BU.
Hello bugo. Hope all is well. I read your earlier post that you no longer work at the store. I hope it wasn't for exchanging from register hehe. Anyway, hope to see your future finds even if they are not as often. Take care.
I might or might not be able to trade out money at my new job. As for the old job, I got tired of it and left one morning.
