    Great poll, man
I have been looking at mine and wondering the same question
It is very interesting to see all the varieties right next to eachother for eyeappeall
I voted for the Proof even tho I do not like all the new snake skin proofs
I was expecting the enhanced to be better, but it was not.
Actually the Denver looked pretty darned good.
    What do yall think?

Proofs don't really do much to me. Looks like just a round mirror. Can't appreciate the metal of the coin.

The UNC Denver wins. The others are proof garbage and enhanced nonsense.

It looks like a mass and rush production to 180,000. so fast that the quality is very much inferior to american eagle set. And the design looks lightly struck. Ebay Average price at $140.00. I would price reverse proof and enhanced unc at $45.00 each. And proof and uncirculated at $25.00 each. But if the set hit $200.00. Then the reverse proof and enhanced unc should go $70.00 each. And proof and unc at $30,00 each.
P.s. The box and c.o.a. is very beautiful and romantic.

Mine rolled up today, via UPS Ground, shipped from a new fulfillment center, now out of Memphis. Order placed in the first hour on 10/28 then it's here 3 days later, 10/31! That's a first.

New shipping containers, zero product protection inside shipping container. OGP is blah, outdated looking, much less lavish than in past years. Coins are jammed into felt lined holders, only showing one side at a time. Hard to extract. Coins: RP - overrated, Proof - what you'd expect, Unc - nice, Enhanced Unc - best of the batch.

Reverse proof is my favorite, just for the uniqueness of it. Enhanced unc 2nd, then unc, then proof is the most boring to me.

Being on the left coast mine haven't arrived yet.....But I did see them in Chicago. And based on that presentation set, my favorite was far and away the Enhanced UNC. In the world of novelties, the reverse proofs are starting to become less novel. :)

The way I've played many of these novelty releases is to put in an order, take a look at the coins in hand after they arrive (usually that's the only way I get to see them for the first time) and evaluate whether I'll keep it or return it.

We have the 7-day return policy which really only costs the amount of return shipping if you opt to return the products. And we have to see coins in-hand to determine if we want to buy them or not. That's the only way for a collector to buy a coin, particularly expensive items like these.

I think lots of people judge whether they will buy or not without ever seeing the coins and after they arrive don't take full advantage of just sending the coins back after having the chance to review them. Many seem resolved to keep them even if they feel indifferent about the coin once they have it in hand.

There used to be many mail order coin outlets that would send coins monthly for collectors to review and send back what they didn't buy. In some fashion, the Mint offers this service, albeit a short 7-day window of opportunity. If the Mint persists in turning all their offerings into "products" and produces in such large quantities, provides only slick cartoonish-looking marketed images online of the coins for review, then there's no other way to review the coins, and the Mint are operating just like a 'Littleton' type firm that offers in home review.

I don't think this product is that appealing to all Kennedy collectors and if you have a favorite of the four coins, it's probably a better use of your collecting funds to just seek that single piece out in the after market.

So are ya keeping the set or sending it back Chris? devil.gif

Most likely I will keep the two sets I ordered but I feel it's a waste to hang on to all the OGP that I will never use as a presentation piece. I think they went overboard and didn't design it very well with this aspect. The one coin I like is the enhanced unc, and I should probably just send back the sets and try to buy that one coin (perhaps certified) for my collection. I was more influenced to buy this set after giving a thumbs up to the quality of the K15 piece, and wanted to give the new ordering system a try. It was much better than in the past.

Well, my two arrived........one has to go back. This will be my first mint return. Some kind of residue on the Denver coin and a nasty little scratch on the obverse of the Philly proof in one set. Other set is ok. Lovin' the reverse proof.........

Sorry to hear about that, Ken. That's a shame. Can't for the life of me understand how they let stuff slip out like this. You get UPS Saturday delivery on this order? FWIW, the return process has never been a problem for me, just costs you on top of what you already had to pay to get the coins. My returns usually take a week to process and another week to reflect on my CC.
