I already have Lincoln cent, but planning to buy US Type Coins. I would say buy them both if you can find combo deal from Amazon.
What kind of information are you looking for? My Lincoln go-to books are "The Complete Guide to Lincoln Cents" by David Lange; "The Complete Lincoln Cent Encyclopedia" by Shane Anderson; and "Looking Through Lincoln Cents: Chronology of a Series" by Charles Daughtrey. I looked at both of the books you're considering and they just seemed mostly to be value guides.
well they are by whitman. the lincoln cent encycolpedia you mention is the one i think ive seen for $5. looking for historical details scarceity etc ive seen the lincoln one in hand so i know its something id like to own but ive never seen the type book. since i will eventualy get both i just wanted to buy the one that was more intresting first since i cant buy both at the same time right now.
