Tommarrow im going to the silver store at looking threw a bin of ikes that are 1.50 each. What should i be looking for date error ect. never paid attention to these coins intill i seen some pics here i lile how they look
If you go to ikegroup.org you will find all the info you need. I would suggest trying to pick 40% silver Ikes. These have an S mint mark and side of coin is solid not layered. As far as varieties go, learn to identify peg legs, 1972 Type 2s, and 1971D FEVs (see ikegroup.org site) and try to pick these as well. This will require some study on your part and a loupe.
