Same difference. One grading company uses Exceptional Paper Quality and one uses Premium Paper Quality. One TPG I've used calls it Superior Paper Quality, and another uses Original Paper Quality. Buy the note, not the holder.
I thought that might be the difference because I did notice that they were 2 different grading companies. however, I noticed some graded 63's that didn't have any of the EPQ, PPQ, etc. just plain. in THAT case is one better than the other?
Yes...the EPQ/PPQ designation always trumps the equally graded note regardless of the number. In other words, a 45PPQ is more desirable than a plain 45.
you will find the designations similar however PCGS is a bit on the tougher side as they dont allow things like pin or staple holes on the notes PMG on the other hand sometimes does depending on the location, so you always want to double Check but its usually in the comments next to the grade.
