Where would this 1889 Carson City Morgan grade at?

    Seems like it has some good meat on the bone still with quite a few details in the hair on the observe and feathers on the eagles breast being present as well, although some wear on the reverse.
    I always have a hard time grading circulated morgans like these, more experienced morgan collectors, what do you think this puppy will grade at?

    Probably counterfeit. The photos are too dark, but from what I can see, the dentals are uneven and weak.

    One of the rules all collectors should observe is, if the photos are bad, pass. It does not matter if it looks like a bargain, it’s probably too good to be true.

    Looks like a breast hit and nipple under the T. I agree it probably is counterfeit.
