I have a decent sized canadian collection tha i'm looking to sell. does anyone know of a reputable dealer with an online presence that specializes in canada?
What kind of collection? What denomination. What is the general grade/condition. Are they certified? How large is "decent size"? Are they pre or post WWII? There are many dealers that specialize in Canadian, but the collection needs to be more narrowly defined a bit.
fair enough. here's what i've got, all in a mix of lower grades (g-vf): - large cents - near complete ,depending on what varieties one includes - small cents - again, near complete through 1990. no 36 dot, or the other the other high end varieties - 5 cent silver - near complete except for the 21, and the 59 lg/sm - 5 cent nickel - complete through 1990 except for the 1925 - dimes - a dozen or so non-keys pre 1902; after 1902 through 1990, have all but 4 - the two 1909s, 13 broad, 36 dot - quarters - a 72h, plus all but 4 after 1902 (15, 21, 27, 36 dot) - halves - 1940 - present, all but the 47 curved 7, 48, 82 mule), plus 16-20 - dollars - 35, 36, plus 6 george VI, plus probably 90% of the elizabeth II prior to 1985. - other - maybe 9 maritime pieces, all common dates
Hello Mr. Coin, There are others more knowledgeable than me regarding Canadian coins & dealers. I did meet one dealer at the Los Angeles ANA that deals in Canadian coins. His name is Thomas Jensen and his company is The Canadian Coin Company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. I don't think CT likes us to post phone numbers & Email address data in the open forum. You can probably find the company on the Internet or send me a PM & I'll forward the data to you.
