I'm trying to find out how I would go about getting new paper money. I'm looking for regular currency that is being printed today, but I'd like to get it uncirculated. I've checked online but have not found any official US sites selling uncirculated notes.
You might want to try the forum members here or alternatively, you should check your local bank Never know what you can find.
Local banks are a great place to get uncirculated currency. Often times it must be ordered in advance. Build a relationship with a bank and it's employees and they will bend over backwards for you. I used to manage a bank and it is very easy to order "fresh" currency and they can even get it with sequencial serial # if you request it... Its a very common request as there are a lot of grandparents that like to give out crisp bills to grandkids for birthdays. Additionally, travelers often request uncirculated bills as if you are visiting Russia for instance if you plan on taking US currency over there to exchange for Russian currency they insist on new American bills as worn bills even folded bills are often suspected to be counterfeit.
