Where to buy Colombian Gold Coins?

I know there's not a big market for colombian gold coins such as the old 5 peso gold coin. So, I was hoping to buy some near spot value. During my initial searches, I keep coming up with AU-UNC examples that are selling for a premium. I was hoping for more like F-VF or better at as close to spot value as possible.

Short of going back to Colombia (which I could do if I have to), I was hoping someone here had an idea where one could find Colombian Gold Coins that are selling for close to spot value, basically as a bullion investment.

    Thanks in advance.

Curious: Why you would want to invest in a bullion coin for which there is little/no market? There are other gold coins that you can buy close to spot if you just want to own gold. The cost of the trip to Columbia would negate and future profit potential.

The coin is bullion, there is always a market regardless of what is minted on it. As for going to columbia to buy...if it came to that...THEN you are defeating the purpose...buy a Krugerrand...

I'd be going to Colombia anyway to visit relatives, it would not be just for the gold. It's just that I won't be back there for a few years, and if I have to wait, I will.

But fortunately, I do have money now that I can put into Gold that I can store in my safe. Colombian gold would have a sentimental value for me, but as mentioned above, I will refuse to pay much over spot as there is not a market for it to command a premium. Unfortunately, that lack of a market means it's also harder to find, but it's got to be out there if the Greysheet is even bothering to list it.

PS. There's no U in Colombia. The spelling issue has made it harder to search as I must do every search with both spellings.

apmex was one of the first places I looked. While they buy them just below spot, they have none listed right now. I definitely will keep checking them several times a week.

I've looked at that site already, and while they indicate they have some, their prices haven't been updated in quite some time. I figure if I don't find anything in the US, I'll give them a call to find out what they have and how much they charge for shipping.
