Hi, I'm going to be honest when I first started collecting coins I didn't do any research at all. I bought alot of single proof coins & uncirculated coins off of ebay and got ripped off big time ( I know I was dumb). Anyway I want to get rid of them and try to make some of the money back on them. Where should I try to sell them?
Either Ebay if you don't mind the work, or just take them to a local coin shop and get an offer from the dealer. Try not to cheat anybody if you sell on Ebay. We all know what it's like to be on the wrong end of that deal.
Ebay and J & M Coins & Jewellery Auction. Be honest. Check feedback on all bidders, be paid first, (don't send coins before checks and/or credit cards clear). (Same true for Paypal and other online pay plans) make sure overseas bidders' money orders clear and are payable in U.S.A. funds. Clinker
