When was the last time you got a wheat penny in change?

this just happened to me yesterday! but it was the first time in years. It was the last year issue of 1958.

Not counting searching boxes, I got a 1952-D (in really decent shape too, AU with plenty of red left) in change at a party store a few months ago.

 

I found a 1958 last week in the change from a cup of coffee in the company cafeteria.

 

I just got a 1938-D in change from a gas station today.

 

I found two 1920 cents a few weeks ago, and within about a week of each other.

 

I found a 1941 cent in a change tray after filling up with gas yesterday!

 

last week ....1958 too.

 

Just pulled a 1953-D from change for a sub a few minutes ago.
