Does anyone know or know a website where I can find when dollar bill series started? IE: 1969C bills were not printed in 1969. They were probably made in the 70s.

I don't have a website, but I do hae a copy of the coin world almanac and with it I can check to srr who the Sec of the Treasury and the Treasurer were, and then check to see when hey were in office. That doesn't give me an exact date for when they were issued, but it would be fairly close. For example your 1969C is Banuelos - Connally. Banuelos was in office 12/17/71 - 2/15/74, Connally was in office 2/11/71 - 6/12/72. So the 1969C was probably first issued around Feb of 1972. (It takes awhile to make the new plates.)

    This is an excellent website:

According to it, 1969C notes were delivered to the Federal Reserve from May 1972 to March 1973.
