When did PCGS do this?

    I'm not a collector of slabbed coins but i believe that is the same slab used for the presidential dollars which allow for reading the edge lettering. This would be the first year they would be used on the Sac's

    Thanks for the heads-up. I had not seen the PCGS holder until now. It is interesting that it holds the coin at three points which I believe is better for odd-shaped coins than a 4-point approach. This might be good for viewing some error coins like partial collar error. Rail Road Rim coins can be kind of neat but the error is covered in most slabs.

    PCGS and other holders

    I like that you can see the rim. Especially for Bust halves along with 18th century half and large cents.

    I like it. I like it a lot. Hopefully they will do that for every PCGS slab.
