The first pic looks to have a big crack which circles through the top of the head up through the god in in god we trust, the second looks to have a crack from the edge going through the mint mark and stopping under abs bowtie. the third I thouht was neat, it has a fingerprint on the back of coin, I notice a dent on the e. and p in e.plurbis and under the mag I can see a clear fingerprint, looks like someone was fingering the goods.
I wish I could attribute the authors of the threads I've gleened info from, but here's what I've picked up along the way. Use a dark background to place the coin on, preferably black velvet as it does not reflect much. Avoid using a flash by using two strong light sources placed at opposite sides of the coin. If your camera has it, make sure to use the "micro/macro" mode which should allow you to get even closer to the coin. Beyond purchasing a more powerful, but more expensive lense, the only other tip I've come across was a thread where someone used a kids toy digital microscope that cost something like $35. Don't remember the details on who made it, but I remember the images being pretty good. Hope this helps, I'm sure the guru's here can add more. I know I'll be following this thread to see what they add
