I have several thousand wheat pennies . Over $300 face value. I also have 600+ Indians. How much are these worth currently? Should I sell, keep and reinvest , or should i look through them closer for errors (is that worth the time?). I also have $200 face value of just copper pre-1982 pennies. What are these worth ? I am for sure going to sell the coppers, just unsure of value. I would like to know what you guys have to say. Thank you all for your time!

How long have to been collecting wheats to have over $300 worth? Definitely check them for errors and key dates. A few of them might even be worth over 100 bucks.
Man that makes my wheat collection look like microscopic. haha I could only dream of ever having that much.

I have no idea how many wheats I have but it must be in the hundreds or low thousands. I've been collecting them my whole life and I'm inheriting two collections with hundreds of wheats along with some other coins.

I have acquired these the last two years. I have already sorted them by decade. I just dont know if it is worth the time to look for errors or just sell the pennies. I am missing several holes in my books, but I am also doing three books at once. I dont have any key dates but I have most of the semi's and commons.

Well if you already have them by date just look for the main errirs some are worth the time.

I have it by decade. I dont think I want to re-go
through 50,000 pennies. If I were to sell them what would be a good price?

The "unsearched" rolls are just people slapping two good coins on the end and selling it for a lot more than it is worth. I want to honestly sell my coins. I have $160 face value of 1950's wheats I finished counting earlier today. I dont Know what to sell the common 1950's for.....

about 2-4 cents a piece circulated if you dont search for the 55 double dies you could make unsearched rolls out of thoes also mixed mint mark single year rolls sell nicely ones from around 1909-1925 iv seen them sell for almost $20 a roll

I haven't searched for any of those errors. I am not interested in rolling the coins. I have put them in bags of one thousand each. 1909 are by themselves . 1910-1919 and 1920-1929 are the categories I put them in .

You think that they will follow the same trend as indian pennies?

well you could add up the values from the redbook for each of your bags date ranges then get a average number to use as the value per cent minus the values of key dates or semi keys
