1945 Lincoln Cent. Broadstruck on a Type 1 Blank. Very few of these exist but are not that expensive as demand is low. Maybe because few actually understand this error type of being struck on a blank?
    Nice wartime error!

How do you know it is a type 1 blank? Broadstriking would remove evidence of rimming.
Does it say it on the slab?

Broadstrikes actually don't erase evidence of that. Looking at the edge can also help make that determination.

As for what the label says, I find TPGs are often wrong. In this case, the label accurately describes it is a Type 1 Blank.

It's neat looking, and would be an attractive Wheatie even without the error.

Cool coin. Did it make AU? Or XF?
