I have a few coins that I think may be rpms. I’ll post clearer shots with the dates and everything if you think they may be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The last 2 no, but the first possibly given what appears to be a spread on the serifs. However, the real problem with all 3 coins is that their conditions don't look top notch; in those situations definitive statements become difficult. Semper Fidelis
I looked at the first one again. I don't see a spread on the lower serif. What I see is a small hit. Chris
Could very well be, that's the problem with trying to identify something on a beat up coin. How about the upper serif? Semper Fidelis
Certainly agree with the need for some close-ups and from a couple of different angles. Semper Fidelis
Based on that photo I have to concur. And thanks Alcoinsandcards for taking the additional photo. Semper Fidelis
Okay, needing a little help here. Being just a rank amateur collector, I don't know what 'rpms' means, and it occurs to me that maybe I have been reading the other acronyms wrongly (eg: ddo = double die obverse?). Would someone mind posting a list of acronyms and what they stand for, please?
