    Hello all,

I just found three 1970 S Lincoln cents in a roll, they all look different to me (emphasis add to ME, LoL).

I am really confused about the low and high seven, plus confused about the small and big date. So, are any of them the more scarce 1970 S coins?

    Thanks for your help,

    Chas.

Edit: The first date looks bigger, and the second two look like low 7's, just trying to confirm.

But then again, the "Liberty" on the second coin looks 'soft'.

IMHO they're all large date. Really tough to tell with those pix.

Yeah, excuse the pic's, still trying to fine toon them (if you've seen the scans I've posted in the past).

Edit: How could I improve the pics to the standard that you expect?

It would be great if the date & MM take up about 1/3 of the picture or more.

Chuck Daughtry published the best (IMO) guide to differentiating these in his book Looking Through Lincoln Cents.

If you're at all interested in the series I highly suggest picking it up; its a fascinating wealth of knowledge.
