My favorite coin in my collection is a chop mark free 1875-S Trade Dollar; well struck with trememdous detail, deep chocolate brown in VF 35. Clinker
The one in my avatar, I call it a 'soverand'. But seriously, one of these...can't decide... My Peace Dollar 1561 Elizabeth Sixpence 1999 Canadian Maple Leaf Rabbit Privy All in terms of looks.
Tough question. Can I use my set of Barber Dimes? I guess my F- 1896 S Barber Quarter or my 1913 S Vg Quarter
Hey Clinker, Are you saying your trade dollar is a deep chocolate brown? It sounds like you are describing a large cent to me. -Jake
Trade Dollars have 'Trade Dollar' written on them don't they? Clinker I would guess knows the dif between and large cent and a trade dollar.
Clinker: "Deep Chocolate Brown"? Did you buy one that when you peel the outside it has chocolate inside? Or possible a nice copper copy? Or? The mystery continues.
Mine would have to be the 1795 Half Dollar I just bought. I've sent it in to ANACS for encapsulation, so I woun't get it till New-Years.
