whats your opinion

    my bank has a bunch of these rolls...was wondering how stupid i would be if i cracked one or two open

    Have at it! You would only be paying face value for them, and there are some doubled dies for the 2004 circulation strikes.

    I wouldn't bother opening any rolls of nickels like these currently. Unless you want to possibly find error coins, there's just a bunch of nickels in those worth 5 cents each.

    yea, even if i did open them up i would make sure i take care of them, and like i said i can get more at face value from the bank if need be

    You should ask the tellers if they have full rolls of 2009 nickels. Those sell for a tidy sum because of the smaller mintages. Believe it or not, individually they sell for a dollar or two.

    I don't see any downside to cracking them out and taking a look. You never know what you may find!
