Misattributed as "Upright 5", when in fact it is the "Slanted 5" variety.
Also looks like there is verdigris on the obverse, which hasn't been complety cleaned off.
That might just be the picture, though.

I agree with Jody, Also notice that the obverse is RED, the reverse is Brown. Interesting coin

    Slanted 5 not upright 5,

Actually a pretty reputable seller there.

Just had a post like this to jog my memory. Slanted 5 not upright.

    "Error slab" probably worth millions.

You guys are good! It is misattributed as an upright 5 when it should be a slanted 5. I also agree with some of the comments about the color of the coin. I don't personally like it. In my opinion, the color is not original.

Well they are right - but I would have said the grading company. I saw this auction and as it popped up and I saw the two different colors, I just hit the back key. :)

Yeah, I just found it in a random search, so I thought I would post it to keep people on their toes.

Nice coin ! I actually really like that one (pity I spent most of my coin budget yesterday !). The obverse field is a bit scuffed.

Yeah, i noticed it too, wrong designation. Should be "Slanted 5" variety.
