LOOKS STRANGE TO ME. I never heard of the grading co. ebay 140176722682. What do you think?

Based on the seller, the slab and those pics - I sure wouldn't risk it.

I do not even consider them a grading company.

Each of those three excellent reasons to avoid the item are sufficient by themselves.

The current bid is $666.66. Somehow I think the bid is saying something.

IMHO -- cleaned AU at best and counterfeit at worst.

NNC is another of the alphabet graders.
Looks NG to me, but that is my 'uneducated' non-professional opinion.

That one bidder must be the owner:D :secret: that coin is not a ms-64 maybe a EF up to 860.00

Oh man, I wish I had that type of money to blow. Geez. Thing is with NNC, don't even know if it's real or not, could turn out to be a cent you'd be lucky to get two cents for. But then again, could be real, but chances are slim. Another question is, if it was real, why didn't the submitter send it to another company whose name you could trust? That's another reason to stay away IMO.

Something that you need to remember is that there are huge numbers of collectors out there who still believe that ALL grading companies are equal. They truly believe that NNC or any of the others are just as good as NGC or PCGS. This is also why so many still buy the coins in these slabs.

True, I forgot all about that. That is probably one reason for the bids too. I hope it is real though, could lose someone a lot of money. Thanks for reminding me of this GD.

It appears to be a double die, but not MS64 red/brown, more like EF or AU brown. The pictures are poor.

    It's up to $961. 27 bids. Can't believe it.
