This coin is currently listed on Teletrade to be sold tomorrow. I have never seen rims like this on a Buffalo Nickel before... it looks like it was put through the dryer a few times.

It is graded PCGS MS65... any ideas?

    LindeDad His Walker.

The gasket holding the coin is deformed. BTW nothing is wrong with the coin.

Should have been sent in for re-holder, I had a couple I had to do that with.

Needs a re-holder bad! Coin itself is fine so long as that warped plastic doesn't melt to it! PCGS holders.... ugghh.

I know you should buy the coin not the slab. But that is one instance the slab really detracts the coin, it needs to be re-holdered.

Agree 100%. It'd be in an NGC holder in no time if I won it, lol.

Great, thanks for all of the info. I just wanted to make sure before I bid on the coin. :thumb: I like the colors... I don't know about sending it back in for a re-holder, I would most likely crack it out and save it for my Dansco 7070... That is if I can ever find a 7070???
