What's up with this dime?

I don't usually go through my change but today I decided to look for any 2006 cents, with no luck. Then I spotted this dime which looked a bit unusual. It has high rims all around and even though it is fairly well centered, one side of the rim is fatter. There is no damage to the edges,so it isn't spooning and in fact, from the side it is the same thickness as any dime.Only the obverse seems to be sunk in too deep. What is the cause or type of error?
Here are two shots with different contrasts. The second dime is just for comparison.
(check out how the word liberty almost touches the rim)

Nothing is wrong with that coin. I collect error coins and some time ago I began seeing lots of those and began saving them. Checked with a fairly intelligent dealer who said it is common. Just over pressed at the Mint. Very, very common. also, no extra value.

The small coins of the USA are not identical to each

other. There are minor varieties among 1 , 5 cents and dimes.

The raised rims are quite common and they don't have any numismatic value. It will be interesting if they would be worth something 100 years from now though. Who would of thought people would be collecting and attributing VAMs. When Morgans were being minted, die cracks and other such errors usually hurt the collectability of the coin.
