I failed at registering multiple times. I thought I was doing something wrong, so I kept on trying a different e-mail address, with no luck. Everything seems to be fine, but I never get a confirmation e-mail. When I try to login anyway, it says my information is not in the system, but if I try to register again with that info, it says I'm already in the system. I contacted them, and to this day got no response. It'd be nice to have an easy tool to display and archive part of my collection, but is it really worthwhile to waste my time with such amateurs?
Hmmmm - not the site owner to not respond and I've known him for years. Are you sure your messages are getting through ? You could of course just use Coin Talk's album feature and keep your coins pics and info here ya know.
That's the thing, I'm not sure of anything because the site provides no feedback whatsoever. How many pictures can I have on a CT album?
I faced the same trouble registering for their service but I got lucky with my 3rd email address registration. Also I contacted them to get my website featured in their personal website section in Numismatic links. But till date no response.
A possibility is your ISP spam settings. If your ISP has spam filters (most ISP's do today), to reduce the amount of junk mail you receive, then the messages are being diverted to your junk mailbox and you will never see them. Log onto your ISP's main website then go into your account and turn off the spam filter and then register again at OmniCoin and you should receive your confirmation email finally. :thumb: About 9 out of 10 times, it's the spam filter settings that's causing the problem so fix that first and go from there. :goofer: Ribbit
I don't have clearance to change those setting, I think. Besides, I have no ISP e-mail address, and I regularly check my junk box (in fact, I always do).
I've got a couple hundred in my albums and room for more. You can always send Anton a PM or email from here at Coin Talk. He's a member here, user name is akrvd if I remember correctly. I'll check. Here's a link to his profile here - http://www.cointalk.com/forum/members/akdrv/ had the letters mixed up.
