When I went through my first box of pennies, I found loads of coins from the 21st century. However, only a few were from 09 and 08. I personally am keeping all MS 08 and 09's because last year of design and commemorative. I'm guessing that people are keeping all 08 and 09s regardless of condition? Should I also do this?

i get, on average, about 10 2008 cents per roll. i guess my area was flooded with 2008's.

If everyone is keeping them to the point where you cannot find them in circulation, that is your first hint that they will not be valuable anytime soon! That is what happened with the Bicentennial coins... they made them in huge numbers, and everyone kept them in huge numbers.

IMO, history has repeated this version of events a few times since then...

What I have found is that on all the 2009 & 2010 cents I have received in change or found in rolls are fingerprinted heavily. People are obviously looking at them. I also find a lot of 08's but very few 09's.
