I've seen some posts with others that are similar, but I don't know enough to guess a value. Thanks in advance.
Condition on paper money is everything. There are definite signs of circulation so it won’t bring top dollar. A definite keeper due to the printing error. If you have a local coin shop near you I would take it there to get a value but I wouldn’t sell it. Nice enough to be in any paper collection hands. Welcome to CT.
@SteveInTampa This is a 3rd print FRN error? What's the proper name? That should have a nice premium.
If you told me to give you three bucks for something like that I would quickly buy it from you and RUN! I did that once at a flea market.. It was an album loaded with Indian Head Cents, Wheat Cents and Stamps. The person told me $20.00 I paid and rushed away! Diamond Jubilee Album call Cents from 1909 -1984
Welcome to CoinTalk @Mtnmade. That is a nice find and while the condition of the note isn't great, there are collectors out there that will pay a nice premium for it. If you plan to collect currency, it certainly is a keeper.
Just saw this on an auction site. They think the value is somewhere between $240 and $280. https://bid.bkauctions.com/1985-1-F...nt-Error-Legacy-Choice-About-New-58_i48153809
