A family member brought this beauty by the house to let me admire it for a little while. What do you think it is worth? Please keep in mind, the scan is a bit blurry, and doesn't do the coin justice. Its the best pic I could get though.
I would grade it VF....as for value---I would say just alittle over bullion. Since I'm not a collector of gold coins I might have missed something.... Speedy
Adam, Nice coin, i dont know much about gold but i would grade it around VF like Speedy said, only maybe a little higher due to you saying that the scan was blurry. I would agree with Speedy that it is a VF coin due to the wear on the cheekbone, eyebrow and the down feathers on the headdress. The reverse is not much better with the wear on the left wing, the leading edge of the left wing and some of the lower tail feathers.
