Whats this called?

    Came across this cent today. Is it mint damage or post mint? Also, if it is mint damage, whats it called?

    definitely post-mint damage, looks like something has scraped the edge.

    Postmint. Something scraped it hard at an angle. If it had occurred before striking the last "A" of AMERICA would still be complete, although weak, and the raised portion would have been flattened into the steps by the reverse die.
