Guitar picks...commonly found but never understood how unless to fake it out. Really for 50 cents?

ohh thats even worst... you pay more for gutar picks then you do for the coins. haha so clever tho, i put that coin back into circulation to give some one else a laugh! i think the coin rollers dont want to replace it so they just put it back into the rolls!

Back on topic...I've never found anything that odd. I found a slug, shield nickel (smaller than regular nickels and found in bank wrapped roll), and I think that's it.

its illegal, but the gov does not roll them, other companies do! so when they see it, they dont want to pay for the mistakes, they just put it back into the rolls... lets see what i find now when i unroll 500 rolls of dimes.

for example i dropped off two boxes for two hundred. they dont count the nickels them selfs. they count the rolls. i missed out on a couple nicks they told me next time i dropped off more and they said try to count more carefully.. i guess some times they add them just to make them look full and never show up to the same bank? who knows.

The strangest thing I have ever found searching rolls is an unsearched roll.

MAGICIANS COIN-2.jpg MAGICIANS COIN.jpg Last week pulled magicians coin from roll of nickels. NO, a teeny rabbit is not inside it. Nicely rotated. Only second one ever, 1st was metal detected one cent Lincoln.

Found several plastic play pennies in even bank wrapped rolls. Have also found those little plastic counter pieces that bank tellers use. Also found a couple of those Philadelphia tokens that the mint put in mint sets years ago.

I found a cent in a dime roll and my brother found a dime in a cent roll.

Not that uncommon especially stained dimes, in $25 of customer wrapped I find an average of 4-5 dimes. I have even found dimes in bank wrapped rolls.

I was really upset about the penney in a dime roll though, I mean it was full size and everything! not even copper! GRRRR! Makes me mad.

Late last week I searched dime rolls, no silver :( , but one of the rolls appeared to be a disappointing "someone stuffed a cent in a dime roll" again. Turned out it was a dime, a broadstruck 1974 - I will have to image it. Was my first dime error found in a roll.
