Received a letter today from the U. S. Commemorative Gallery. If I put a dollar in their envelope and mail it back, they will send me a Monroe dollar.
And they will send you a lot more junk mail in the future trying t convince you to buy a bunch of overpriced coins, plus they will most likely sell you name and address to a bunch of other direct mail marketers. If they get your phone number you will also probably start getting telemarketing cals. (And by buying the Monroe dollar that establishes a business connection which can let them get around "Do not call" regulations.) But if you don't mind throwing away junk mail go ahead.
