    HI there!!

I have an Ike dollar I got from an old Danish lady when I was a wee lad (all my coins have a story!!:goof: ).

I dont know much about US coins, but this is a 1972 Eagle on moon regular strike from the Philledelphia mint. Now, i have been told there are 3 types. How can I tell the difference?

    Cheers me dears,

    Will.

Sure. I'll get my camera. In the meantime, GDJMSP, the link you referenced is excellent. I have identified the coin as being a type 1. I was hoping for the rare Type 2, but I have no such luck! Very interesting stuff all the same!
