An exact example, except in grade 66EPQ, sold for $89 at the Heritage Tuesday Night Auction on May 31, 2011. I haven't seen a 67EPQ in a while.
Your note is a 'remainder' which means the note was printed but never issued. Your note was not signed nor was the serial number written on the note (as far as I can tell). Notes from the Canal Bank are very common (probably the most common Obsolete Note there is). Your note is still a VERY nice example. Dealers usually offer somewhere between 50% and 67% of retail. If a similar note sold for $89 dollars at auction that does not necessarily mean the dealer can sell it for that. My guess (and it is only a guess) is a dealer would pay somewhere between $40 and $60 (and that is based on the auction hammer price only).
